4:29 pm	Living in a dream, waiting by the window We're on our second program of the semester, and once again I'm questioning myself, my abilities, and if I really should be doing computer science. Again, I've been hitting my head against a wall. If I'm having this much difficulty with simple assignments, what hope do I have out there in the real world. When I don't have people to fall back on. When I'm expected to perform on my own. Having these doubts does not mean I am giving up. That's far from it. I rebuilt my last program from scratch three times before I got something that earned a B. And at the moment, I'm only on the first build. But if I can't have a grasp of the basics, and use them without help, what hope do I have when that help isn't there to fall back on. I guess I just have the feeling that for some reason, my wings have been clipped. The ones that allow me to strive under pressure. The wings that have gotten me out of jams, and allow me to land on my feet while still running. It's like they've just disappeared and I'm free-falling down to the ground. I don't want to be caught and pulled back up. I just want my wings back. I want to be back on my sky road. (3 Comments |Comment on this)
